Outside-the-box cardboard casket

Hailing from NZ, the Out-of-the-box caskets are perfect if you want something that looks modern but keeps things sustainable. They’re made from structural cardboard and finished with sustainable ply, so they’re light and strong. It’s a stylish, eco-conscious option for someone who always preferred things a bit more modern and straightforward.

Pandanus wicker casket

The Habitat

Daisybox cardboard casket

This is the one for anyone who has said “just put me in a cardboard box". It’s a sturdy, eco-friendly choice that skips the glues and plastics for natural fiberboard and rope handles. We love it because it’s a total blank canvas—perfect for coffin decoration as part of your ceremony. It’s honest, earth-friendly, and easily the least "funeral-y" option available.

Kubu wicker casket

If you want something that feels softer and a bit more "off-script," this hand-woven rattan casket is a great shout. It’s 100% natural and biodegradable, built over a sturdy bamboo frame so it’s solid but still has that relaxed, organic look. It’s got a lovely, warm color from being sun-dried and a simple calico lining inside
